Yu-Gi-Oh! Magnificent Maestros arrives November 13 with 1,800 serial-numbered Grand Master Rares

Konami's sequel to Magnificent Monsters reimagines rival cards from Kaiba, Zane, Jack Atlas and Kite, and adds 21 new Toon, Witchcrafter and Unchained cards.

Yu-Gi-Oh! Magnificent Maestros is the next premium set from Konami, and it reaches stores on November 13, 2026. Official Tournament Stores get it two days earlier, on November 11. It follows September's Magnificent Monsters, and each box carries a suggested price of $34.99.

The set has 125 cards. The headline is a run of serial-numbered Grand Master Rares, but the new deck support for Toon, Witchcrafter and Unchained players may matter more to anyone who plays at a weekly event.

What comes in a Magnificent Maestros box

Each box holds three foil packs of five cards and a small bonus pack of three cellophane-wrapped cards. Every box also guarantees three Secret Rares, and each of those can upgrade to a Starlight Rare.

The 21 new Toon, Witchcrafter and Unchained cards are inserted one per pack, so a single box gets you three of them. Six extended art reprints of older cards appear only in the bonus pack.

18 reimagined anime cards

The core of the set is 18 cards reimagined from the anime, built around famous rivals: Seto Kaiba, Zane Truesdale, Jack Atlas, Kite Tenjo, Yuto, Yugo and Yuri, and Varis. Early entries on the card list include Blue-Eyes White Dragon, the White Phantom Beast, Deep-Eyes White Dragon, the Blue Abyss and Cyber End Dragon, the Final Strike Dragon.

Players who grew up with these characters will recognize the source material. Kaiba's dragons go back to the very first boosters, and his older printings are gathered in Duelist Pack: Kaiba singles. Zane's own deck was collected in Duelist Pack 4: Zane Truesdale.

How the Grand Master Rares work

All 18 reimagined cards also come as Grand Master Rares, an extended art finish with hieroglyphic borders. Each one is serial-numbered from 001 to 100.

  • Every card has 100 copies for the Americas, which covers North, Central and South America combined.
  • Another 100 copies go to markets supplied from Europe, including Oceania, Africa and the Middle East. Those serial numbers end in "E".
  • That makes 1,800 Grand Master Rares in total.
  • They are all printed in English, but they can turn up in French, German, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish packs too.

With only 100 of each card in the Americas, these will be the chase cards of the release, and you should expect prices to reflect that from day one.

Toon, Witchcrafter and Unchained support

For deck builders, the 21 new cards are the main event. Toon players also get reprints of Toon Dark Magician, Red-Eyes Toon Dragon, Toon Bookmark and Toon Table of Contents, so this is a good moment to put a Toon deck together.

Ten more new cards come from cards seen in the anime. They include the first Dark Tuner monsters from Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's, Chaos End Ruler - Master of the Beginning and End, and Hyper Rank-Up-Magic Ultimate Force.

Chibi art and first-time foils

Ten cards get new chibi variant art, including Lovely Labrynth of the Silver Castle, Fallen of Albaz, Incredible Ecclesia, the Virtuous and Super Starslayer TY-PHON - Sky Crisis. Another 40 cards receive a foil version for the first time, which gives collectors a reason to chase upgrades of cards they already own.

Before and after the release

Magnificent Maestros lands about a month after the new Joey Wheeler cards in Beyond the Brave, and Glorious Victors closes out Konami's 2026 schedule in December. If you are building one of the supported decks now, the older pieces are easier to find in Yu-Gi-Oh! singles than in sealed product. Ask the store about availability before release day.
